Hi there, I’m Ben.
Building a Charity based on Fun
I had this idea a few years back. Games, both tabletop and video, got me through some pretty tough times. I wagered that there were plenty of people out there that could benefit from a little fun.
I was right.

The 501c(3) Struggle is Real
Nothing is official yet. I’m in the process of filing the appropriate documentation to make this dream a reality, and it is a long, bureaucratic grind. Bare with me as I jump through these hoops.
Our Mission, If You Choose To Accept It.
Every Charity I had to write a mission statement for the cause. I thought about all kinds of niche areas that could benefit from gaming and I don’t want to pigeon hole is into one spot just yet. Let’s set a baseline and build. Charity Level 1 – zero xp.
Put games in the hands of those who need them the most.
Simple right? This is the jumping off point in finding where the Mandatory Fun Time Charity fits in the non-profit Ecosystem. We’ll build it together, and narrow the focus as we grow and learn over time. Here’s what I need from you:
- Tell me who can benefit
- Donate your talent
- Spread the word
- Build our community
Do us a favor
